I always wanted to be a manager and liked to participate in
solving complex problems, so work hard together with my engineering education
to acquire many skills necessary to become such a person.
I imagined was an international manager 21st century - a quick learner with an interdisciplinary approach to problem solving, with the ability to work outside their area of expertise, where necessary, and to work anywhere in the world to decide in the short term and to communicate with any type of person,
How can I acquire these skills?

Ideas collection phase identifies the skill-set
I spent almost two months reading study reports for the problems faced by large corporations, research on future trends and various other things to determine what skills are needed for global governance. I use LinkedIn, and several of my social media friends to identify necessary for this global interdisciplinary management skills. Here is what I learned:
• 1. Interdisciplinary Studies: after having participated in the European Parliament Open Days, was keen to include public policy as one of the interdisciplinary aspects of my life program.
• 2. Future trends, legislation and policy environment and urban planning are just some of the trends I identified that may be useful for a person to understand the changing needs of an organization. "Big data" is another trend that I added in the later part of the project by a discussion of LinkedIn.
• 3. globalization, culture and languages when using the word "global governance", which was necessary for me to really understand the meaning behind the first globalization and how can I become a global one. My positive experience of living in Denmark is helpful. In my own research, I have found business deals have failed and e-mail communication has become confused between people of different nations, because they do not understand each culture, including their history, social customs and political frameworks. Learning different languages can help overcome language difficulties.

Choosing skills over degrees
By now, you might have seen that my ambition is too big to fit into any traditional program. In 2012, they did not have enough financial resources to go to vocational education and I had no intention to draw higher education loan.
I was by the traditional education system before; it was not necessary for me to compete for a degree when I was obsessed to develop skills set. With very good exposure to the business and management of many years of work, what I was looking for something very different.
After careful consideration, I decided to create my own path of learning. I was unsure at first, but the opening of MOOCs - massive open online courses - a few months gave me motivation to continue the project and to complete it successfully.
